Workspace issues in Photoshop 25.0.0

Hi folks. I'm running a 2020 Intel iMac 27" with i7 and AMD 5500 XT 8GB running Sonoma 14.1.. I use an additionnal 32" display for my main display and use the Mac screen for pallettes and controls in a custom workspace.

It's worked flawlessly for years, but since updating to 25.0.0 I've found a severe issue making Photoshop unusable. Clicking anywhere on the Layers, Colours, Brushes and additional panels is completely impossible. The action simply passes straight through to the desktop and clicks outside of the application.

Resetting and rearranging the workspace has no effect. Using standard workspaces (attached to the main board) works as it should.

I've reinstalled the app without success and deleted the workspace files to address conflicts from the older version. Still without success.

Can anyone cast light on a solution??

V26 won't let me use my workspaces. Everytime it opens it has changed my custom workspaces. I have to keep resetting them. I am dropping back to V25 until this gets fixed. Windows 11 is current. Tried reinstalling V26 doesn't help. V26 seemed to work fine for awhile but then stopped opening with my workspaces a few days ago. I have to keep resetting them.

@sheriffofworksop Go to Photoshop Help Menu/System Info and copy/paste details in a reply. Post only once as the system takes time to process the large amount of data.

Upgrading to Sonoma 14.1.1 solved this issue for me.

Upgrading to Sonoma 14.1.1 solved all the ui issues for me.

I can confirm that I've tried both the latest stable build AND the 14.2 beta of Sonoma. Neither has made any difference to the problem I'm seeing with the current version of Photoshop. Therefore, the only common denominator is the Adobe component.

@sheriffofworksop have you upgraded to Sonoma 14.1.1 that has been shown to resolve UI issues.

Done all of that and made no difference.

Check for third-party plugins or extensions that might be conflicting with Photoshop. Some third-party plugins can cause problems with Photoshop's workspace. Try disabling any plugins or extensions that you have recently installed.
