Your graphics processor is incompatible error message

Anyone know what this message means? I've never had it before and haven't changed anything that I'm aware of (running latest Mac OS). If I follow the advice in the link to check >preferences >performance, the Graphics processor shows as 'unknown GPU'  and I can't get any further than that.

I quit and restarted Photoshop and all now seems to be fine!
