Getting "Your Photoshop Brushes cannot be modified because it is a read-only library" error when trying to add a PMS swatch using Pantone Connect in Photoshop 25.5.1 . No issues in Illustrator or InDesign. Uninstalled and reinstalled both Photoshop and the Pantone Connect Plugin and also tried using previous versions of Photoshop.

Premium version of Pantone Connect

Sonora 14.1

How can I change permissions for the Brush Library?

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Can you provide a larger screen shot of what is going in on Photoshop? It sounds like you are trying to add the swatch to a Library called "Your Photoshop Brushes." This Library might be one which has been shared with you, not one you created, and thus you do not have write permissions to modify it. If that is the case, select a different Library in the Libraries panel and try adding the swatch there.
