Add a toggle to disable auto-connecting straight lines

It would be helpful to have a toggle to disable the auto-connecting behavior of straight lines drawn with the brush tool while holding Shift. Currently, to start a new line without it connecting to the previous one, users must release Shift, press B, reengage Shift, and then resume drawing. This makes drawing with straight lines cumbersome, forcing users to manage key presses instead of focusing on their work, which becomes disruptive, especially when needing to draw hundreds of lines.

I've seen the below threads also discussing this behavior:

I'm not against the idea, but there is no need to press B.  Just release shift then click to start the new line and press shift again.
