Hey Adobe,

It's 2023 and we're using emojis in nearly all of our written communication 🥳

As an editor who focuses on telling short form stories in social platforms, I'm reaching a point of frustration when trying to add emojis into the captions and text on video in Premiere and in images in Photoshop.

Sure you have some very hard to use emoji font thing in Photoshop, but it shouldn't be so difficult to type a 🤯 or 😍 in your tools.

Pretty please 🙏 let us use emojis as a natural part of our creative workflow.

Maybe post the request in the Premiere forum.

Ah. Thank you. Could not for the life of me find a feature request section on Adobe.

Yes, the character panel in photoshop is still a bit cumbersome - doesn't let you search by text, and feels more like a workaround. I'm finding myself typing the emoji in text edit app normally, then pasting in photoshop.

Premiere Pro is the main issue. I still have to export the emojis from photoshop as a png and bring them into Premiere as an image. Feels like this should have been solved years ago with the font and essential graphics improvements.

Yes, you can insert emojis on a Mac as well, using Glyphs in the Character Panel.

By the way, this is (mostly) a user-to-user support forum, you are not addressing Adobe on here.

Not sure about the MAC, but you can add emojis in Photoshop using the type tool and the Windows logo key + . (period) key
