I was wondering if there were any android tablet apps that are available which can connect to my PC allowing me to use my tablet for various shortcuts and functions within my PC version of Photoshop?

Hello, Android user here! I was wondering if it was possible to request that Photoshop level of accessibility and layout for the mobile and tablet application that is available for Apple device users to be reflected for Android users. There are many people who use non-apple devices that frequently use Adobe applciations and would like to have that same level of access just like Apple users have. I myself am a Graphic Design student and I would really like to have the creative freedom to be able to use Photoshop and other Adobe applications on my Samsung tablet while on the go. Thank you for your time and consideration!

Do tablets have enough power? Does it even matter? Intensive computing for filters could be done in the cloud (maybe even for an additional fee).

I don't really feel the need for a bulky windows tablet or even laptop. Only thing I'm missing when traveling is Photoshop.

There's Photoshop for iPad, but I don't personally find it useful.

I believe Photoshop Express works on Android, but that's no more useful than the iPad version IMO and experience.  I guess it depends on how you hoped to use it?

Adobe does not pre-announce what they are working on. Anyone who could answer your question would be under NDA and couldn't tell you. Volunteers on the forum have no idea.

What we can tell you is that Photoshop for iPad is not a full version of Photoshop. It's streamlined and missing many features, including the Pen tool. I do use it quite often, but only for small projects. For any real work, I go to the full version on my desktop.

I just looked it up and Lightroom is available on Google Play. If you have a subscription that includes Photoshop and Lightroom (the Photography plan), you should be able to download it and sign in with your Adobe ID and PW.

Will there ever be a good Photoshop for android as it is available for iOS? Or did adobe decide only rich people need good apps?

The full photoshop and lightroom experience in a mobile format. Much like you've done for the iPad.

I want to open .PSD in android device, is it possible? If not editing at-least for viewing purpose, would be a great help.
