Integrate WebP into the "Save for Web" exporter in Photoshop

Explorer ,
Oct 15, 2024 Oct 15, 2024

Hi,
I think it would be wonderful if WebP could also be used in Export/Save for Web. Instead of JPG, we now use WebP in our merchandise management as well as in our online stores. The export route would be much easier than always having to use "Save Copy as...".

Would this be a good functionality for others?

Greetings,

Micha

Save for Web is not being updated as it is old code. And AVIF or JPEG XL are probably better choices than WebP.
