Interfuncionality between Ps versions

I wish i could copy all the settings, workspace settings etc. between my PS ecosystem and PS beta, with ease.  Just to have them similar in funcionality. For example when installlinh beta theer could be prompt asking if it should copy settings from main PS plus the list to choose what to copy.

Would be great.

There is a choice to migrate all settings when you update.

 

Personally I never recommend that, because all these user settings and preferences are prone to corruption over time. They are rewritten on every application exit, as opposed to read-only program files. An irregular Photoshop shutdown can easily cause errors, which will then accumulate.

 

So I take a new version as a chance to start with fresh preferences. It only takes a couple of minutes to set up.
