Layer option

When saving a file and you have forgotten to flatten the layer. I have to go back, flatten the layers and re enter the title of to pic IE: "A budding star of the future, you Kudu male - Pilansberg Aug '23".tif

It would be nice to have an option to choose to flatten whilst saving as an override rather that having to go back, flatten, resave and re enter the title.

Save As ......type in file name...."saving with layers will increase file size"

Stop....... go back......flatten file...repeat 'Save as and re type title"

Need option Allow "Auto Flatten for this file only" button.

Regards

Andy

If your saving to TIFF you'll either see Layers in the Save As/Save a Copy dialog or in the TIFF Options there is a Discard Layers and Save a Copy checkbox.

What file type are you saving to?

Depending on how you have your File handling preferences set such as Legacy Save on/off, you should see a Layers check box that if unchecked would flatten the document before saving.

One downside is you don't see a preview of the flattened dicument before saving.

For example, if you save as psd, then click Save a Copy there is a Layers check box.
