Hi Adobe, I am a bit pissed that in 2025 I have to spend such a long time manually removing my round edges to make mockups. Is there no way that after I create a smart object and it free transforms into my mockup, I have the option to round the edges? Why do I have to spend so much time doing manually masked round edges? When I create rectangular shape for a mockup, it immediately gives option for rounding the edges but as soon as I need to move to smart object, it looses it. Wouldn't it

Hi Adobe,

I'm frustrated that in 2025 I still have to spend a lot of time manually removing round edges for my mockups. Is there no way to keep the option to round the edges after I create a smart object and transform it into my mockup?

When I create a rectangular shape for a mockup, I can easily round the edges. However, once I convert it into a smart object, that option disappears. Wouldn't it be more efficient if the option to round the edges remained available throughout the entire project?

Thank you for considering this improvement.

be easier if this option is available until the end of the project?

I’m not entirely sure I understand your request, but let me give it a try: after rounding the edges and converting the shape layer to a Smart Object, simply double-click the Smart Object thumbnail to enter the editing mode in a separate tab. Activate the shape tool, and you should be able to adjust the roundness. If this method doesn’t work, please specify your Photoshop version.

Can you explain the process in point form and/or post screenshots of the workspace and layer panel to illustrate?
