Hi, you might be interested in Photoshop on the web beta: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/photoshop-web-faq.html

Why not just install Linux Mint or Ubuntu on your Chromebook, and gain access to a wide range of graphics editing and design software? Chromebooks are pretty powerful nowadays - Ubuntu or Linux Mint would convert your Chromebook to a proper production machine.

Then install Krita, Inkscape, Gimp, perhaps even PhotoLine in WINE. Blender, OpenToonz, BlackMagic Fusion, etc. Older versions of Photoshop will run in WINE too.

If you require ChromeOS as well, install Mint or Ubuntu as a dual boot system.

Problem solved.

It depends a bit on the particular type of Chromebook, but yes, very much possible.

How do I install Linux Mint on a Chromebook with a separate home drive? – Fascinating Captain

Linux Mint will not work on a Chromebook with ARM chip, I believe.

A Linux distribution aimed at running on Chromebooks is Galliumos: https://galliumos.org/

Install Krita, Gimp, or even PhotoLine in Wine, get Gravit Designer (which also happens to work natively on Chromebooks), InkScape, etcetera.

PS Don't expect the best performance in the world, of course. A Chromebook is quite under-powered hardware.

It may well get you Linux working and therefore access to a range of photo-editing applications that work on Linux. It still won't get you Photoshop which requires Mac or Windows operating systems.

I was recently sent a survey about Photoshop, and one of the options was to potentially add the ability to edit PSD files on the web and mobile (maybe thats a hint at whats to come soon).
