P: Change Brush Size using Pen Tilt

Hi,

Changing the brush size by leaning the pen (i.e. the more inclined the pen, the bigger the brush size) is a common feature in PAINTING software, which Photoshop lacks, and would be very welcomed by the painting crowd.

I've used a similar feature on Painter 11, MyPaint 1.0 and Gimp 2.8.6, and I find it really useful, since it allows a faster and less stressful access to a HIGHLY REPETITIVE TASK.

Thanks for your attention,
Antonio.

Any updates on this? Still no brush tilt to increase size?

Nothing done yet. Photo shop, I guess that Adobe is targeting photography users only.

agreed
have the same problem with a Cintiq 13 HD and Photoshop CS 6 on Mac

apparently this bug exists at least since CS 2 independent of the digitizer used which is an utter embarrassment for Adobe

I would appreciate if someone could clarifiy if this issue should be classified as a problem instead of an idea (since both the user interface and the documentation are in contradiction with the actual operation of the software).

One more thing: this change would also make consistent photoshop's actual operation with the current version of the manual (ADOBE® PHOTOSHOP Help and tutorials June 2013 / Adding dynamic elements to brushes / Brush shape dynamics / Size Jitter and Control), which states:

"Pen Pressure, Pen Tilt, Stylus Wheel Varies the size of brush marks between the initial diameter and the minimum diameter based on the pen pressure, pen tilt, or position of the pen thumbwheel."
