Thanks for reaching out. We are sorry for the trouble with Photoshop iPad. We're here to help.
Currently, Photoshop iPad does not have pattern previews or repeating pattern options. It can be done as an inter-op between Photoshop iPad & Illustrator iPad.
Illustrator on the iPad lets you quickly repeat objects and manage their styles with just one touch. All you need to do is to create your first object and choose a repeat type. You can also save the artwork in Photoshop & open it in Illustrator iPad to create repeating patterns.
Hi, @ToveN and @Ayana25173913vcgw I am turning this discussion into a feature request. Please vote on top of this thread, and invite fellow designers to explain why you need it, if you'd like to see Pattern Preview on iPad!
Just installed the latest update for Photoshop for iPad tonight; yet still no way to import or use patterns. This not acceptable for a graphic designer. Even MacPaint had patterns in 1984!!!! If there is a very hidden feature, I should not have to hunt for it.
Yes! I'd love Pattern Preview added to photoshop for iPad, since I do everything else in my pattern-making workflow on my iPad. This would allow me to continue without going to Photoshop on desktop. It also enables pattern design without having to use measurements/coordinates when moving motifs.
