Can you provide more detail on what's not working for you?

Currently this document wxh link will be persistent in a current Photoshop session across documents, but I do notice that it defaults to off on the next start of Photoshop. 

Is that what you're after? For this link to be persistent between subsequent launches of Photoshop?
