Photoshop: Save custom transform reference point location

There is no way to set top left as the default transformation point for all transformations in a document. I design websites and I usually only need to resize with a reference point at the top left to keep the x/y location of the objects top left corner constant.

Is there any way that we could get an official answer for this very frustrating issue?

Yes, this is a big issue for me as well. Probably a lot of people. The upper left is the most important point for most web design use cases where you need to get the coordinates of something so you can build CSS for it, etc.

seriously, at least make it easy to click! or better yet maybe some sort of keyboard shortcut that puts you into "edit reference point" mode and you can then use your the arrow keys to set it. that would be pretty nice.
