Stroke Corner Options

Was working on a project the other day where I couldn't help but ask, "Why don't I have corner options (rounded, kerfed) under the stroke effect?".

We have them in Illustrator and InDesign, why not Photoshop? It'd be great to save presets as an effect/style so we don't have to rely on creating/controlling vector shapes with the attributes.

That's it, that's the question.

There are option for the stroke on a vector object: inside, outside, and middle. There are also options for the anchor points. All accessible though the menu bar, when using the tool.
