Could not open FILE.psd because of a program error.

Currently getting a "Could not open FILE.psd because of a program error." warning when I try to open a certain psd file! I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, using an old version of Photoshop. Nothing has worked so far! Any help?

I've also tried disabling generator, changing the text engine options, and switching to legacy compositing to no avail!

If it's a particular PSD file that you can't open and you can open others successfully, it means that file has a corruption and, sadly, that you're probably stuck.

Ahh I feared it might be something like that. It's the newest file I've created. I noticed in Bridge it's the only photoshop file I have that's designated as Adobe Photoshop 21.0. All of the others are Adobe Photoshop CC 2018 or some earlier variation.
