EPS files are opened as indexed images since update to 22.4.3 [Index Layer]

I'm getting crazy... since update to 22.4.3 Photoshop opens EPS files automatically in original size as indexed images. Before the update a dialog popped up when opening an EPS asking which size and resolution I need. I urgently need this dialog back, but I have no idea how to get it...

Any ideas?

Thanks

Frank

I think I recently saw a thread on this and I can reproduce the issue.

As a work-around you could use ai or pdf instead of eps.

If none exists yet please post a Bug Report over on

See this thread:

In addition to reporting it as a bug to the developers, others have rolled back to an earlier version using the CC app.

Thanks for the info. I'm in the midst of a project, so I will also try to roll back...
