Moving PSD Files From Bridge to Photoshop Window (Photoshop CC 2017)

Until recently when I have images displayed in Bridge (RAW, Jpeg, PSD) a double click on the Jpeg of PSD file sends it to Photoshop.  Now when I double click on the image of a PSD file the copied notice appears.

By highlighting the Photoshop icon on the message and clicking on OK the image immediately goes to Photoshop.  I don't know what I have done or clicked but can anyone help by explaining how I get back when all it took was a double click on the required image file for it to go to Photoshop for editing or printing without the above notice appearing. (Jpeg files go to Photoshop without the notice appearing.

    Many thanks for your help.

Did what you suggested but when I clicked 'Reset to default Associations' a message appears saying 'Reset all the Associations.  This Action Cannot be Done'      All the associations are listed including one which is Photoshop Document (PSD, Psb.........) but I am unable to highlight any of them.  After each association there is the word none.

Go to one of the photo files R-click it and select properties.

Go to advanced and select what program you want each file to open with.
