My brushes, patterns & styles keep disappearing.

Hiya, 

 

My patterns, styles & brushes keep disappearing. They are sitting in my Adobe PS 2020 presets folder, but every time I close down my PS, they just keep disappearing and I'm having to re-import and re-organise. 

 

I'm sure I'm just missing a simple solution but can't figure it out. 

 

HELP!! I didn't have this issue when I was using PS 2019.

same issues. But i delete old version and download software new website! Its working fine.
you update old version you issue resolived.

Same issue here. I have OS Monterey 12.0.1 on a M1 chip macbook. My photoshop is version 2023 24.6.0.

 

I had a bunch of Styles imported about 2 days ago and photoshop crashed on me then I re-open and try to continue my work only to find out my Styles are missing. All but the defaults and 2 Styles I imported a month ago. Is this like an automatic safe mode or something? I searched my folders and they arent there. Im afraid this will happen again. It took me hours to import all my Styles 1 by 1. Please Help!

Did you copy the asl-files into the correct folder in the first place? Then they should be available from the Panel’s dropdown menu. 

~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop 2023/Presets/Styles

Hi try to reset your preferences hope it helps as new update have new things it keeps do such things...regards

    I'm having the same problem. Opened up PS today and all the patterns were gone. Managed to reimport some, but others have gone completely. It's pretty unnacceptable. I don't experience these types of issues with other software. Not good enough Adobe!!

     

    What do you  mean re-set preferences?
