Do you mean the one called "Clipboard" that is highlighted? Clear your clipboard. If you mean something else, please clarify.

Made a video for ya:

Hi @The Productivity Shop

Your video shows how to clear the files that were recently opened. The OP is asking about the recently used presets and templates in File > New, which your video does not address or solve.

Deleting Preferences should clear out the list. It will get recreated, though, when you begin started new Photoshop Documents.

  • Preferences > General > Reset Preferences on Quit

"Recent" is the default, but you can select presets from the other tabs.

You could always go to Preferences > General> Use legacy new document interface

Otherwise...

The file your are looking for is: Default New Doc Sizes.json

It is a plain text file, the "JavaScript Object Notation" contents can be edited at your own risk.

Mac (inside the application bundle):

/Applications/Adobe Photoshop 2021/Adobe Photoshop 2021.app/Contents/Required/

Win:

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2021\Required\
