I have an old version of Adobe Photoshop Elements 6. I successfully reinstalled the application my computer using my install CD, However, when I clicked on the Adobe Elements icon to start the application, I got a box asking for my serial number. After entering the serial number, I got a message saying...
"Registration - Connection Failure - We were unable to connect to Adobe to register your product."
I then have 3 button options at the bottom of the box - "Never Register", "Register Later", "Register Now".
I first contacted customer support about this who informed me that since my software is so old, the serial number is no longer maintained on a server. I was then instructed to come here for support.
Thanks,
Keith
i don't think version 6 needs to be registered for it to work as long as the serial number was entered and accepted.
Just click "Never register."

Yes i concur with Peru Bob.
Registration is different from activation and not required and if you already registered pse 6 at any time in the past, there is no need to register it again.
