If you type agent in the chat you should be brought to a live person.

When you say new/used clean computer. Did you start from scratch as if it were new loading up Windows for the first time? Also how much memory is in your computer?

You can try these KB articles if your installation is stuck to see if they help. The first is for the creative cloud app itself and the other references individuals apps in the creative cloud as you didn't specify what program specifically was stalling.

Thansk for reply

Windows was installed on the PC.
Other programs that I installed on the PC, no problems.

32GB RAM, 1TB SSD

I've run the creative cloud cleaner tool

Tried to install, a number of times - same result.

Not running any antivirus SW (yet)

The programs I am trying to install are:

Photoshops Elements 2023

Premiere Elements 2023

(I bought them in April last year, and used them on my previous PC - now I am trying to install them on a new PC)

@Christian_Carlsson

make sure your computer meets all specs, https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-elements/system-requirements.html.

then, if it does, restart your computer and retry installing.  it you see another failure, create a new user profile on your computer and install for that user.

Thanks, PC exceed the requirements.

Have restarted, and tried installation numerous times - same result.

Will not try to install on a new user, it must be possible to get it working on my account

You may need to install the Creative Cloud application before installing Photoshop Elements:
https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-app-download.html

I had to install it to be able to install PSE 2018 on Windows 10.

Installed Creative Cloud, but within that Cloud you can only pick "new" vesrion of all Adobe's SW.
I want to install the version (21) from the date that I bought the program (last year).
I do not want to upgrade, pay any more money.

How can I get in contact (a real person) with someone from Adobe support?

It can't be that community members  should give support of Adobe's SW?

Correct.  Just to be clear:

Elements is not installed via the CC app, but some users haven't been able to successfully install some Elements versions if the CC app is not installed first.

Got this message from user "Victor Wain" (About Victor Wain - Adobe Community)

Welcome to Adobe Support Community

Hi,

You can Directly send Email to our Adobe Customer Care Team Email A
[scammer's email removed] and they will help you via Email.

Team Adobe

Reported as suspicious scam, what do you think?

Anyway, the information from "Tech support" was that the previous version could not be used on latest 64-bit systems.

I tried to downloaded the latest 2024 version, and they were installed without any error.

So, perhaps that information was correct.........?

Yeah, I've checked - according to that my Windows version is too "NEW".

Really low rating of Adobe SW developers if they can not follow the development of Windows 😞

adobe does update its software versions to keep pace with new os'es.

what they don't do is to update older versions to do the same.
