Stacking JPG and RAW

I have my Canon set to shoot RAW and JPG, I use the JPG for a quick preview and then make any edits of the good shots from the RAW.

I'm trying to find a way to get Photoshop Elements Organiser and/or Adobe Bridge to stack the JPEGs and RAWs together so when I'm doing my initial sort if I delete one, it deletes both.

I've not edited for about 10 years and I remember being able to do this with CS2, but I'm struggling to find the option now.

Anyone got any tips?!

Thanks

Hi , I've moved your post from the Photoshop forum to the Photoshop Elements forum where you are more likely to get help with your issue.

But my issue also relates to Adobe Bridge...

You might also want to raise it in the Bridge forum, or I can move the thread there if you prefer.

When you import files into the Organizer via the Adobe Photo Downloader (Import>From Camera or Card Reader) there is an option to automatically stack raw/jpeg files.

When you delete one of the photos in the stack, I believe you are given the option to delete all photos in the stack (and to also delete the files from your hard drive).

If you intend to use the Organizer, you should not use any other method to manage (move, rename or delete) the files.  Otherwise the Organizer's database will lose track of them.

I agree,  even If I am using both the Organizer and Bridge (as an external editor) I am ONLY using the organizer to organize, tag, move,  rename, delete , group pictures, NEVER Bridge which is good for advanced browsing and metadata management.

Stacks are attributes of files in the catalog. I am familiar with stacks and version sets in the database, but I have no idea how Bridge manages stacks, since it does not offer a catalog.
