Adobe Photoshop Express not working on new ChromeOS 109*

Recently we noticed that Adobe Photoshop Express Photo Editor is no longer working on our chromebooks with the new ChromeOS 109.** It was working great on previous ChromeOS versions.

I have a ticket open with Adobe and they just keep pointing me to help docks for Adobe Photoshop which is not what I am looking for.

 

Basically you can download and install the app through the Google play store.

Then when you try to run it, it force closes or hangs.

 

Here is the link with it working on ChromeOS 105.**

 
Here is the link of it not working on ChromeOS 109.**

Good news PS Express has started supporting Chrome books running on an x86 processor.

You can now download the app.

Here is my Adobe case as well  Adobe Case ADB-27902159-C6S5

 

We have been unsuccessful using PS Express with the following Chromebooks since updated to ChromeOS 109.0.5414.125

 

1) Acer Chrombook Spin 514 CP514-2H

2) Asus Chromebook Flip Model C434T

3) Samsung Chromebook Plus Model XE513C24

4) HP Chromebook 11A G8 EE

5) HP Chromebook 11MK G9 EE

We are also experiencing this issue with our Chromebooks. Adobe Photoshop Express Photo Editor was working correctly in January then quit opening.

We are using Acer Chromebook Spin 511 (R752T, R752TN) on Google LTS support channel so the ChromeOS is 102.0.5005.193

Thank you for being patient.

 

I spoke to our engineers, who advised that PS Express on Chromebooks is only supported by arms 7 and 64.

 

Ps Express won't work on Chromebooks that use an x86 processor.

This was due to a corrupted release which has now been corrected.

The support for the x86 processor stopped about 3 years ago.

I have a Samsung Chromebook Plus and I think this development is horrible and an inconvenience.   And this is coming from someone who has a paid subscription to the Adobe Creative Suite.

Removed videos as they cointained personal info.  but still not working.

Confirmed it is also working on ChromeOS 108*

Adobe called me today and said because I have an enterprise VIP subscription I need to call 1-800-685-2950 and work with them.   Just getting the run around all over the place.

It's not working for me either on a Google Pixelbook Go. I've reached out several times but have yet to get a response. If I go to the app on the Play Store, it says Photoshop Express isn't available for Chromebook. Very poor customer service.
