How do I resize and move a cutout

New Here ,
Feb 13, 2024 Feb 13, 2024

I have my cutout on the image. I want to make it smaller and move the bird next to the lady. I feel like I should be able to manipulate it from here, but the bird won't respond to my touch 😿 any thoughts?

Hi @madfoot ,

Thank you for reaching out to us. Please refer the below steps to perform the cutout feature in the Photoshop Express application for iOS device. Also, please let us know if you have an Android device.

Combine Photos

Cutout objects

You can cut out a part or multiple parts of a picture to isolate what you need. For example, you may want to separate the object from the background. To cut and select objects, do the following:

  • Select Combine Photos > Select an image.
  • Select Cutout.
  • Photoshop Express detects all the objects present in the image. Select a particular object or multiple objects.
  • If an object is missing from the selection, tap Add and use Smartcut to select the missing object.

Accept the changes to cut out the selected objects.

Please let us know if this helps.

Thank you,

Neelam
