I'm using an iPhone 13 Pro Max. I've used the subscription level of PS Express for a while now (as part of a larger subscription package). For a while, everything seemed fine. Now, when I run photos through PS Express (even is I make no edits), it drastically changes the quality of the photos.
Is this caused by the conversion of HEIC to JPEG? I have the setting on maximum quality, but the file size does change from 2.85MB to 2.5MB.
I tried to upload both photos, but when I upload them, they look the same, which leads me to believe it's a compression issue. Still, the quality is so different. It's frustrating.
Anyone else having this issue?

Hi @ProlepticKupo ,
Thank you for reaching us. We are sorry for your difficulties. As you mentioned, the images are acceptable when uploaded in both forms HEIC to JPEG, but changes happen when converted to HEIC to JPEG. Could you let us know how you are converting the formats? Please share a screenshot of the images you see the differences. You could try reinstalling the application to see if this helps. Please let us know how it goes.
We hope to hear from you soon.
Thank you,
Neelam

Hi @jack30944766anam ,
Thank you for reaching us. We are sorry for your difficulties. Please let us know the Photoshop Express version installed on your phone. Also, check if the images saved in your cellphone encounter the same problem of loose the colors of the images or if it is only with the images of Chevy 5.3 Firing Order. Is it happening for the first time?
Have you tried reinstalling the application and tried the steps?
Please share the screenshot of the error or a screen recording of the workflow for better understanding.
We are here to help you,' we need more information to investigate.
Thank you,
Neelam

Hi @jack30944766anam ,
W have some updates that can help you to resolve the issue. Could you please look at the Image Size setting? You can access it via PSX -> Settings -> Preferences -> Image Resize. Please ensure that you have the Original selected. Also, a minor change in file size is on the expected lines, but there would be no loss of quality resolution if you have selected Quality as 100% and Image Resize as original.
Please let me know if this helps.
Thank you,
Neelam
