Very disappointed with the removal of Photoshop Mix, the app worked perfectly.
My Photoshop Express App shows no options to combine photos (or videos), or options to add layers. I can only edit a photo or create a collage.
I signed up to premium on the assurance that the Mix features were present in Express, but that is not the case at all!
Adobe's website is misleading, as it says you can combine photos by selecting the "combine photo" option from the home screen - this simply doesn't exist!
I have cleared data, uninstalled and reinstalled the app but still no Mix features in sight.
We understand your concern. Please refer to the below article for more information:
We are still working on getting the features for Android as Mix, and they are being processed. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
Thank you,

How soon is this feature going to added to the PS Express Android app? I have a business to run and I pay for premium features. This is a tremendous inconvenience!

It's infuriating that these features are not there yet You've crippled access to the only app that had these features for the Android platform.
I used this combined, blend, cut and paste features extensively and the Adobe mix product yet you felt like it was important to cripple the existing app so it could no longer function and remove any access to that capability.
PLEASE PLEASE HELP WITH RESTORING THOSE FEATURE SETS TO THE ANDROID PLATFORM IN ADOBE PHOTOSHOP EXPRESS FOR ANDROID

It's all well and good to "understand our concern" but what adobe did is still bullsh*t. You removed an app and forced us on to a "replacement" that wasn't finished.
Why was the other app removed when it was the only way to perform a function you have failed to provide?

Please address this omissions ASAP.
So many people used this feature and sick of the excuses. Why is it Android users get the weak version of the App.
Why?

Where are layers and the ability to combine photos? It's almost a year later, at least give us Mix back if you're not going to fix Express.

From the link you have posted:
"there are no current plans to migrate Photoshop Mix technology to Photoshop Express on Android"
So are they being "processed"? Or is there no plan to add them?
This circular speak is an insult to general intelligence and I am sorry Adobe's higher ups have to pay you to figure out how to placate us for their decision to remove fully functional paid services. They didn't even give you a canned explanation like "oh we can't afford to keep bla-bla servers running" or "ai generative fill has less hickups than people trying to run multiple layers on an underpowered phone" or something? You just have to tell us youre working on it and link us to a page that says you aren't?? Just a total disregard of your dignity and time on this earth, hope they pay you well.

The most infuriating part of this is that every Photoshop app on Android from Touch to Mix had layer functionality. This should have been a no-brainer.
We need layers, and we need access to Adobe fonts like the IOS crowd have. With the amount of money Adobe squeezes out of customers, they should be able to hire a few more Android devs to actually get this up to speed.

I've been waiting for the ability to combine and merge photos and pictures so that I could create layers.
Where is the combined option? Your other program that you had Adobe mix I think it was called had these functionality features and then all the sudden the app was unable to be used even though it was no longer updated. I don't understand the thinking behind this, removing functionality from one app that wasn't hurting anybody by just staying there not being updated any longer when you've promised it to be incorporated into Adobe Photoshop on Android devices.
It would really be appreciated as I sit here biting my lower lip waiting for the update to finally arrive that brings this feature and a Photoshop for Android.
Signed,
A hopeful Android user reliant on Adobe Mix features making it over to Adobe Photoshop.

I have the darndest time trying to find where to post the proper complaint and lodge it!
It’s disappointing that Adobe has chosen to prioritize adding themes and other non-essential features while neglecting core tools like photo blending and combining using layers—capabilities once offered in Adobe Mix.
Then to turn around and disable Adobe Mix completely leaving us out in the cold without the features or functions of it.
Who was the brilliant decision maker behind this one?
These features are essential for professional workflows and go far beyond simple collaging. Removing them and failing to integrate them into Photoshop on the Android mobile phone platform, reflects a short-sighted approach that undermines the platform's value.
Come on, Adobe team—get this feature back and integrated into the Photoshop version on the Play Store. You guys are brilliant, capable and talented. Where is the feature?

Adding my displeasure to the thread.
I can't believe Adobe just dropped the ball on users like this.
It's blasphemous to even call the phone app Adobe Photoshop without the ability to layer images, if you ask me.

Once again, Adobe gives IOS people everything and tells Android users to go kick rocks. This is an abusive pattern of behaviour from a greedy company and we should stop expecting better from them.
