Adobe, please offer PS Express in Mac OS so I can use it on my desktop . I have cc but for snapshots I'd prefer to use the streamlined PSExpress workflow and it also has features like selecting subjects, eye whites, hair, etc. along with healing tools and filters not availble (for some inexcusable reason) on the full version of Photoshop. The fact that PS Express is available for Windows and not Mac is inexcusable.

I searched the Photoshop Express forum from your link and it brought me back to this post. It says at the top of this page that it's under Photoshop Express. So it looks like the right forum to me.

I can access Adobe Express on my Macs – iMac 2023 OS 14.4.1 and on my MacBook Pro 2021 OS 14.5.

There's an Adobe Express and an Adobe Photoshop Express. I think they are two different programs. I don't see Adobe Express in the Apple store on my Mac, either, though. I can access Adobe Express on the web but it doesn't do what Photoshop Express did on my old Windows 10 computer. I now have a new Mac and can't find a way to edit my photos now that's comparable to what I could do with Photoshop Express.

This answer is not correct thought listed as such. There is a difference - PS stands for "Photoshop" Express which is a different program from Adobe Express and while it's available for Windows it is not available, unfairly, for Mac.

YES! We NEED a Mac version! My Windows 10 laptop crashed a few months ago and I bought a new Macbook to replace it. I was very disappointed when I found out there is no Photoshop Express program for Mac. I have been using Photoshop Express on my Windows PC for the past few years and have made some awesome edits! The "dehaze" tool has brought out a lot of colors in some of my fall seasonal photos, especially. I've tried some other programs but they either don't have the dehaze effect or it doesn't work as well. I need Photoshop Express for my Mac!

I have used desktop photoshop for over 20 years. I must agree, there are some features --especially in Smart Cut Out ... the auto recognition of Object 1 , Object 2 ...and smart cut /smart select tools that would really simplify my daily life with Photoshop -- especially for the many 'quickie jobs' that i have to do on an increasing basis. My job doesn't always allow for spending the time on photoshop i would in a more detailed/demanding project.
If you can't make PS Express into a desktop app ... please just cherry pick these Streamlined Features and offer them as a Tool Pallette of some kind in the regular Desktop photoshop !
I currently am running a Late 2021 , M1 Chip, 16" MacBook Pro. Sequioa 15.3.2 using subscription based Adobe Creative Clous All Aps Plan

Hi @Kathleen5CE3, thanks for reaching out and sharing the request.
Photoshop Express is a mobile-only app, but there are some other apps that might help you do the job. These are web-based apps and will not require much computing power. Since you're a Creative Cloud app subscriber, you'll get premium access to Adobe Express, and you can also try Photoshop on the web app.
You can also use the Adobe Lightroom app, which is available as a mobile, desktop, and web app.
Hope this helps you!
Best,
Amitej

The version of Photoshop Express that I was using on my old Windows 10 laptop before it crashed was NOT a mobile-only app. It was a GREAT program for basic editing and included features such as dehaze which other free programs do not have. I did some remarkable editing on some photos using Photoshop Express on Windows, and it was very user friendly and easy to use. I replaced the Windows laptop with a Macbook and was very disappointed when I found that I could not use Photoshop Express on the Macbook.
Last year I started looking at paid programs. I do not do enough photo editing to justify subscribing to a program such as Photoshop or Lightroom. I did free trials of several other programs, including Photoshop Elements. I did not like Photoshop Elements at all; it was very hard to use and nothing like the free Photoshop Express that I had on the Windows laptop. I eventually found a competing product that I could buy at a reasonable prics as a stand-alone program. It's not as user-friendly as Photoshop Express was, but I've been figuring it out. Adobe is driving hobbyists away from it's platform with the lack of free and low-priced and user-friendly editing programs.

You didn't address this person's concerns which are mine as well. What users want, and in this case paying users, is for the work saving useful features of Photoshop express to be available SOMEWHERE if we have Macs, be it Express (they're not) or Photoshop (they're not). No auto recognition and select of Objects (1,2,3 etc.) no Dream Filter, and several others. Express as it is now sucks for photo editing (and the AI select and background removal is a pathetic joke, I've never seen something work worse than that) and lightroom is not what most people are looking for. Please (and this applies for all Adobe responders) don't insult our collective intelligence with evasive non-answers. Take our feedback to the Product department and at least then we can blame them for doing what they always do, ignoring the needs of users and treating us adversarially.
