Unable to use PS Express on Iphone 13 pro - just spins with blue wheel infinitely

I'm using the latest version of PS Express on my Iphone 13 Pro with Ios version 17.6.1

I downloaded the app and granted full access to all photos and then in the middle of the screen, the blue loading symbol just spins and I can't click anything. 

I've tried:

-Closing and opening

-Deleting and re-downloding

-Removing access to all photos

-Removing access to all but a few photos

-Closing, deleting, re-downloading and granting no access to photos, some acess and no access

The software works when I re-download it to show me the intro slides - but freezes once I get to the main page.

1.  Do you have sufficient storage space available on your iPhone? 
2.  Are there any pending iOS updates that might resolve this issue?
3.  Have you tried updating the app to the latest version available?
4.  Are there any error messages or logs visible when the app freezes?
5.  Have you tried switching between Wi-Fi and cellular data to see if the issue persists?

Thanks for getting back to me.

I have the latest iOS 

I have 35gb free on my phone

I have the latest version of the app

There are no error messages - it has a blue spinning wheel that goes on and on

I've done it on wifi and celular data, yes. Same result on both.
