21.2.0 freezes and i have to force quit

Ok guys, Is it just my iMac Pro 2017 running macOS Catalina Ver 10.15.5 that has to force quit Photoshop CC 21.2.0? I can operate and save often but within 10 min or so i'll go to save and it freezes and the only way to remedy it it to force quit and restart. any help would be greatly appreciated.
