7 day free trial period

Hi, I just signed up for photoshop and I'm in my 7 day free trial period. Are there certain tools that are disabled during this trial period? I'm having issues with certain things not working.

Thanks,

Bob

That second one (disappearing number entry box) could be an issue with your GPU driver.

Try going to Preferences > Performance and temporarily uncheck "Use Graphics Processor". Then close and restart Photoshop.

If that cures it - recheck it then go into Advanced and try each of the three drawing modes Basic, Normal and Advanced. You will need to close and restart Photoshop after each change.

If you use Windows you can also try the manufacturers site for your GPU and check you have the latest driver.

"Have you had a chance to take a look at the video in the dropbox link?"

Hi Bob,

I was out of my office, and have just now looked at it. In my my first screenshot from your video, note that the square is solid. In the second, it is hollow because it has been deselected. This is normal behavior when no markers are selected.

Click on the marker to select it and your numbers should return.

Good Morning Jane,

Thanks so much for taking the time to look at and help with this issue. I do understand what you are saying. The issue is, and if you'll kindly refer back to the video in the last few seconds, with the marker selected I click in the output box to enter an output value and both the input and output boxes go away again. There is no way to enter an output value.

Thanks again,

Bob

Hi Bob,

I've watched your video a couple more times, and I cannot reproduce it here. I have a few more thoughts (below), then I might be out of ideas. I can type into the Output box every time, no matter how I approach it.

  • In these two images above, there are five points. In the first, no points are selected, and nothing can be typed in. In the second, one of the five points is selected. What happens when you reselect your point that is not selected at the end of your video? Can you then type into it?

  • What if you press Tab to move to the Output box instead of clicking? Does that work?
  • Have you done all the steps @Davescm said to try? You might try them a second time. He often says to do a clean install of the driver, so try that.
  • Try going into Preferences > General > Reset Preferences on Quit. Then Quit and Relaunch.
  • Go to Help > System Info > Copy and paste the system info in a reply window here.
  • If all of this fails, Contact Adobe Customer Care and let them look at your machine:
    https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html
Click the chat icon in the lower right and type "agent".
(Do not reply to any folk who may PM you.)

There is nothing disabled. What are you having issues with?

A couple of things so far. Using a third party action, I get a message saying that the Hue/Saturation command is unavailable. And,
Using a curves adjustment layer, when I click on the output box to try to enter an output value, the box disappears.

Hi

An action is a series of steps done in order. When you expand the action, you can see the steps. The alert is saying you can't use hue/sat where you are right now.

Show a screen shot. We need to see your Layers pane, History panel, and the expanded action.
