Adjustment layers is not showing sliders to allow the adjustment to be made Photoshop CC

Having moved house I haven't proccessed my images for a little while in Photoshop CC.  I use adjustment layers opened from the layers window but the usual sliders are not there  - just the layer mask.  Has something changed ?

    The slider isn't on the layer itself, but in the property panel that should pop open if you double click on the name of the adjustment in the layer or under Window>Properties

      Thanks for this.  You only learn stuff when something goes wrong! I've now got it working.
