Adobe Lens Profile Creator error - cannot generate profile

Hello! 

I have been trying to create profiles for my camera and lens combinations using the Adobe Lens Profile Creator (ALPC).  I have a Nikon D3200 and am trying to make profiles for three lenses:

1. A Rokinon 2.8/10mm
2. A Nikon DX AF-S Nikkor 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6 G
3. A Nikon DX AF-S Nikkor 55-200mm 1:4-5.6G ED

As instructed, I printed a checkerboard grid from the supporting files, taped it to a wall, put the camera on a tripod and shot three pictures with each lens.
I brought these pictures into the Lens Profile Creator, which sorted them by lens.  So far, so good.

After a little trial and error, the Rokinon and the 18-55mm lenses had successful grid detection and I saved the resulting profiles with ALPC.

Using the same checkerboard, the same lighting and the same focal length, ALPC refuses to create a profile for the 55-200mm lens.  The pop up message states:

"Generate lens profile failed because a minimum of three images with good grid detection are required.  Please make sure that you have specified the Checkerboard Info so that it matches the calibration chart exactly.  To specify the Screen Dimension (Pixels) value, use the Ruler Tool at the bottom of the image preview."

All three of the pictures I took failed for this lens.

Clearly, I know how to follow the directions since I was able to create the other two profiles.  The images are clear and crisp; the checkerboard can be plainly seen.

Anyone have any idea why one set of images out of three might fail when they seem to be more or less identical to the other two sets?

Well, it's not an answer to the previous question, but I set up the camera and lens in a different room with different lighting (worse, actually) and tried again.  This time, it worked.  Go figure.
