I'm having an issue with Adobe Paper Textures Pro in Photoshop CC 2017.1.1

When I try and add more textures PS locks up and I have to force quit to get out.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated

The path to the default paper texture textures is

/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions/com.AdobePaperTexturePro/textures

First go back to the paper textures pro panel and after you click on Select a Folder to add more textures and photoshop seems to freeze after selecting the folder press the esc key and see if the textures load.

Try some other version of Photoshop with your subscription you can install cs6, CC, CC 2014, CC 2015, CC 2015.5 and CC 2017.  I have then all installed and have my system use CC 2014 by default.

I use CC 2014, CC 2017 is a work in progress IMO.

Adobe add-on pages states it is compatibility with CC through CC 2017 Windows and Mac up top but state CC and CC 2014 in the text.   I have never install that add on.

OSX Sierra. Yes, trying to point to a folder that has additional textures. It's when I choose that folder that it locks up. I can't find where the textures are located that came with Paper Textures Pro .... I thought I might just load my additional textures there if i could find it

If you hover over one of the thumbnails it displays the file name.  Note this might depend on Preference settings.

Searching for 2014_Alice resolved to the following in Windows 10.  I don't 'think' it is a hidden folder.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CEP\extensions\com.AdobePaperTexturePro\textures

The texture files are all JPG  —  Actually I didn't test all of them, so Assume might have done that making an ass of me thing.
