First of all I know Adobe Photoshop 7.0 is old but the reason I'm using such a old program is that i got out my old Windows 98 PC and that's what's on it. So here's my problem. I am connected to the internet correctly as I can load webpages and whatever else. So when I go to Adobe's website and download the 7.01 update it downloads fine but when I try to install it the update days that it cannot find a installation of Adobe Photoshop 7.0 installed. I have also tried updating from within the application but still no luck. Again I know windows 98 and Adobe Photoshop 7 is old. (I have another PC with windows 10.) Sorry that this question is a bit long winded. Thank you,
Christopher
Ps one other thing I think I posted to the right community but if not can you redirect me? Thank you!
Your not going to like this, but most likely your ps 7 serial has been black listed, probably many years ago and that's why the 7.0.1 updater can't find your ps7.

if the direct download of ps701up.exe didn't work, there's not much else to try.
your os is even too old for Download Adobe Acrobat 7 and Adobe Creative Suite 2 products

Ok then. Do you think I should contact Adobe about this? I have no clue where the box or disk is but I know I have it somewhere in my house. (I hope). Or is there anyway to buy a new serial number? Thank you for your help!

Adobe will not do anything. I think you are stuck with 7.0.

if your ps 7 is working you’re lucky. i can’t see any benefit to updating even if it were possible.
just leave well-enough alone.
