ADOBE PHOTOSHOP CS6 EXTENDED, version 13.0.1x64

I just installed ADOBE PHOTOSHOP CS6 EXTENDED (version 13.0.1x64) on my windows 10 laptop. I cannot do anything. Is it because the program is an older version, is there a way to make the program compatible to windows 10? And also, reading other people's troubles with their programs, they are mentioning keys and codes. I don't have a key or a code. Is that something that is needed? The download never referred to it. Thank you for all responses!

    You must have a serial number. Otherwise, the application will be a trial version that will expire in 7 days.

    You need an activation code for it to work. I have it on my Win 10, and it works fine. Where did you get the copy? Sounds like it's a pirated version, especially since Adobe doesn't sell it anymore, and the only ones out there seem to be bootleg versions.
