All of my projects appearing jagged and pixelated.

I just came on to Photoshop today to find a strange text box that said a bunch of things I didn't understand. I opened up one of my projects to find it oddly pixelated and jagged. None of the lines were smooth. I then open multiple other files with artwork to find them all in ruin as all the line art and colours were lacking smoothing and were jagged and pixelated. I then found that I couldn't draw anything smooth anymore. I can't get that text box alert to appear again, so I don't know what the problem is. Everything was fine yesterday! WHAT IS GOING ON?

What have you done for trouble-shooting so far?

Does turning off »Use Graphics Processor« in the Performance Preferences (Photoshop > Preferences > Performance > Graphic Processor Settings) and restarting Photoshop have any bearing on the issue?

Restoring Preferences after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved might also be a good starting point:

Unfortunately turning off GPU usage is no proper solution as it invalidates GPU dependent features (like the Rotate View Tool and some Filter acceleration for example) but it indicates problems with the GPU driver or the OS.
