All pictures opening as [scaled]

Hi,

For some reason, today all my jpegs are opening as [scaled]. I know you can turn off pixel aspect ratio correction per image- I want to know how to turn off the scaling thats happening.

Im on Photoshop CS6, this just randomly started happening to every jpeg when I opened up photoshop to work today.

It can be corrupt preferences. That's the most common reason. Try a reset:

Windows - double-click the PS icon to start Photoshop

                  Immediately Hold down CTRL-SHIFT-ALT

                  You will see a delete preferences dialog. Click “yes".

Macintosh - Hold down CMD-SHIFT-OPTION instead.

I reset preferences but the problem is still happening unfortunately

Ok, let's get some information: OS version/Photoshop version.

Is it just jpegs or all files?

What do you mean by [scaled]? Can you provide a screenshot of the problem? Include the Document  Tab. We'll need to see what you see.
