Animation & groups ?
I am working on a short animation I have got to frame 10 and suddenly can’t create anymore groups ? I am very much a beginner

It's a project to compare old fashioned drawn animation against drawn animation in photoshop , it's nothing complicated , and am managing animation process well(using film/video - animation option) despite a number of groups , copy groups & layers however I was ticking along nicely and suddenly I can no longer create a group with layers containing drawings for next frame ! I am only planning a max 24 frames to show movement and change in a drawn object.Very frustrating I am not experienced enough on photoshop to know if I have pressed something by accident .

How are you arranging your groups?
If I remember correctly, Photoshop can handle around 8000 layers and each group counted as two layers so you are nowhere near that limit.
However, there is a limit on how many times you can nest groups (i.e group within a group) which is 10.
Are you nesting rather than adding separate groups?
