Are CR2 files from Canon T7i not supported yet?

I have tried to open thse .CR2 files with Camera RAW in Photoshop but it says that there may be an update issue, even though Camera RAW is up to date. Also, I have tried converting these files to DNG files with Adobe Digital Negative Converter but that program won't even let me select the files to convert. It is unable to see any of the files when I select the folder.

Is it possible that I just have to wait for an update so that the T7i is supported? It makes sense I guess because it is a brand new camera.

Any insight on the subject would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Okay so it is not supported at the moment. Just curious, how often is that list updated?

Yes Would like to know WHEN LR will be updated? I bought LR anticipating my T7i purchase I would have thought that Adobe would have been on top of it also? I mean they could have gotten a hold of it months ago before release to make sure it would work. I mean this is Canon. That and Nikon they should be on top of. It sucks getting a new camera and cant do anything with it. I don't want to learn a whole new process to dev them. So please make this a priority and get LR updated ASAP If I have to learn ON1 to replace LR I will and I will cancel my adobe subscription. The whole reason BTW to go with subscriptions rather than purchase was the promise of always being up to date.
