Is it possible to make custom ASL files...?

I do NOT want to use Adobe images... I want to use my own.

Is it possible to convert a JPEG to ASL?

I tried changing the file extension- it only ended up with dialouge bubble saying file is damaged.... and it's not damaged.

HELP ME!

Adobe Style Layers and JPGs are completely different things.  JPG is a bitmap.  As such it cannot be converted to an Adobe Style Layer (ASL).  But as JJMack said, you can save custom styles to your Style Palette in Photoshop.

Yes that is why the is a nes style button.

Set uo your new Style.

Save your style into the style into the Style Palette.  Using the new Style button.. That will save it into your Style Palette.  If may also save it to you Adobe Cloud Library.  I do not use cloud libraries I would delete it in any Library Adobe Creates. I keep all my stuff local

From the Styles  you can select one more of the Styles you created and Save out an ASL file containing your Styles. You can share these with others ASL file can be imported int yours or their Style Palette.
