-past project panoramic 12*44 inch 9GB file no problems I noticed.  camera canon 80D raw format ~ took more time to process

Hardware Windows 10 pro 64bit

intel core i7-4790k 4.00GHz

32GB RAM

NVIDIA GeForce GTX950 OC

Motherboard  Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd. Z97X-UD5H

232GB Samsung SSD 840 EVO 250G SCSI Disk Device (SSD)

2794GB Seagate ST3000DM 001-1ER166 SCSI Disk Device (SATA)

3726GB Seagate ST4000DM000-1F2168 (SATA)

Photoshop cc 2015.5 set to use 25GB RAM

I've started a project I took 30ish photos of my lake in sections so I could put them together to increase the print size possible.   I took the photos left to right then repeated  5 time moving upward until desired area was photographed.

Photoshop auto-aligned the pictures correctly. Creating a 4GB file with layers.

When I tried  the Auto-blend function It Starts, the progress bar goes to 20% fast and then it does not move visibly, even after an hour of letting it work.

The TASK MANAGER shows Photoshop  cpu=14%, RAM = 10GB  Status =Not responding

the progress bar in Photoshop is not movable for long periods of time and Photoshop does not respond to the mouse. hardware seems to  not being pushed to work.

Please help, what is going wrong or am I doing  something wrong.

Thanks Mike

Uncheck "content aware fill". Somebody thought it was a good idea to have that on by default.
