It's now up to 1.3, but I am not sure what the changes are, as it still doesn't work as it should.  I am going to write it off as a bad investment, and hope that my experience helps save other people from wasting their money.

millionart No matter what you say, $10 is too much for a tool that is still riddled with problems. Suggestion is, sell it for $1.99, at most; if you claim you are active to make this tool better, once the tool has had it's issues solved, then raise the price to $4.99 and so forth.

If $10 isn't enough to pay you an hour's salary, you really shouldn't buy it, and it can save you time at least a year, but you don't think it's worth it.

I will not reply to the question about the price any more.

As I mentioned it's not about whether one can or cannot afford the $10, you are missing the point.  Its that your program is riddled with problems you did not iron out; since you decide to simple tune out, I will say one more thing; I'm going to see how this program works.

millionart  I realise you are the author of Brotate from your Deviant Art ID, and the fact your only posts to this forum have been to promote Brotate.  It looks interesting, but I am unable to find any information other than on the Gumroad page.    There are a number of threads on Deviant Art regarding AP Assistant, but they are not conclusive — some people get on OK, and others not so much.

Is Brotate fully functional with Photoshop versions from CC2014.2 and later (when plugin support moved to HTML5)?

Is it possibly to try Brotate before committing to it?

Are there any third party reviews of Brotate that you are aware of (in English)?

Thanks.

The brush-rotate tool is a new tool developed for Photoshop CC 2019, and I am constantly improving it.

The brush-rotate tool is an exe executable (Same as Apssistant) and is not based on the Photoshop development framework, so it is less affected by Photoshop updates, based on the principle of the program, and my development habits, it should be fully applicable to all versions of Photoshop (At least CS6 or above), but I still can't fully guarantee this.

I am a designer myself. The software I developed must be useful to me first, so I can say that it is the best solution at this time.

I don't have an effective anti-piracy mechanism, and the program is easily decompiled, so I don't want to provide a trial version (and no way to provide it).

My English is not good enough. Most of the time I need translation tools to help, maybe I can't provide complete after-sales service.

If you have concerns about the above, you can continue to wait and see.

Finally, I recommend you try Apssistant first.

Thank you.

millionart  thanks for the heads up.  It sounds good to me, and if  it works as advertised, it is worth the price to me.  Heck, it is Christmas — we should treat ourselves.

I will just add that in recent years I invested in BrushBox and Brusherator.   The former is good software, and  probably still valid after Adobe updated the brush management.  The latter I found not so much so, and after a period to  give myself a chance to get used to it, I gave up on it wrote off  the purchase price.  However there are  some absolute gems among  among third party add-ons for Photoshop.  Lazy Nezumi Pro is so far beyond stellar, I'd have paid $100 for it without a seconds thought if I'd known how useful it would prove.

Anyway, I am going to take a chance on Brotate.  Thanks
