Brush outline disappears when resizing or zooming in

The brush outline disappears when resizing and zooming in.

My caps-lock is off and this started happening when I upgraded to PS22.0.1.

This never happend before. I'm an advanced PS user, so this is a new bug for me.

t looks like the brush outline disappears when the brush size increases to a size threshold that is about 80% of the workspace.
