Hi! I've been using photoshop cs6 for the past few years and when i installed it, lots of custom brushes were already installed with it. So last night I tried to download a custom brush again, and when i loaded it, it worked!

But then today, I opened my photoshop.. and now there are no custom brushes except for the default brushes?

Help? Thanks!

Just to be clear, you are using Photoshop CS6?    You might as well tell us what operating system your are using, as there are some 'known issues' with some operating systems with Photoshop.

So you downloaded a custom brush?   Can you tell us where you downloaded it from, and the process you used to place it in  Photoshop?

It might be that you downloaded a file with the .abr extension, and simply double clicked that file to have it open in Photoshop.  I don't have CS6 installed here, and Brush Management changed completely a version or two back.  Did the custom brush appear in the right click menu (with the brush tool selected)?    When you closed Photoshop, where there any messages asking if you wanted to save changes?  It might be that you need to save changes to the  brush panel.  That might need to be done with the preset manager, but I can't test it without CS6.
