Brushes preview box help

Hi, 
I am using the new Photoshop update. Can anyone help me to change the preview of the brushes? When I click for the brushes box I get a preview showing the brush as painted line and not the actualy preview of what the brush design is. Does that make sense? It's changed on the recent version of Photoshop and is a bit of a pain. I thought you could change this in the settings/preferences but I can't find it anywhere.

Ive attached screenshots from new version with brush preview I dont want and the old version with the preview I want. 🙂
