I want to buy Photoshop, but I don't want to be binded for a year. I wanna be able to quit whenever I want. But I can't find that. So what do I do?

Yeah just try the CC Photography plan and go from there, it's not a huge investment.

Subscription plans are here to stay.

Yes, but the $10 per month package is a year long commitment. The original poster wrote " I don't want to be binded for a year. I wanna be able to quit whenever I want."

Hey, like everyone else said here before, the Creative Cloud package is always one year. Unfortunately there is no possibility have a one-month-subscription. The cheapest option is a Creative Cloud Photography plan.

Not quite true :

The single app plan is available as :

Annual Plan paid monthly £19.97 per month in UK
Annual Plan prepaid £238.42 per year in UK
Monthly plan £30.34 per month in UK

So the third option (monthly plan) is available

IMO the best value for Photoshop though is the Photography plan which gives a user more for less cost but is only available as an annual plan paid monthly  or annual plan prepaid.

There’s a monthly program for about $30 per month.

I think the only version of Photoshop you can buy any more is CS6. But I would watch out as to what computer you are using now and what operating system. CS6 is old enough now that its starting to have trouble running on some of the new operating systems. Adobe is no longer selling this, but there are a few people still out there selling it. Not sure of their validity, but here is a link to a place selling it on Amazon.com. So if it is a bad copy of it, you at least have Amazon to help you get a refund.

But you can also go with the latest version in the CC realm, and I think you can just go month to month instead of a year membership to it. I think it may cost a little bit more but nothing too bad. You can just sign up for the Photographers bundle and it's only $10 a month, which is less than you would pay for the CS6 old software over more than a year.

A Perpetual version of Photoshop is not longer marketed by Adobe.  There are many scans on the web for old versions of Photoshop. Buyer beware.

Creative Cloud Subscriptions are for a one year term that you can pay monthly. Should you cancel before the year ends there will be an early termination fee.   I believe its something in the  order of 40% of the unpaid balance.

In the US  the Photography plan  is $120 for a year
