Camera matching profiles in Adobe Camera Raw

Community Beginner ,
Dec 20, 2020 Dec 20, 2020

On a Mac with Catalina, using photoshop- latest version with all the latest updates installed.

Been trying to find where the fuji camera matching profiles are stored in Photoshop.

I believe they should be in ~/library/application support/adobe/CameraRaw/CameraProfiles/  but this folder is empty on my machine. Should they be in this folder?

If so, how do I put them in the correct folder?

Everything is working ok, when I open ACR I can use my Fuji camera matching profiles, no other problems

Can anyone advise me

That's your user folder where you would put any custom profiles.

The Camera Profiles that install with ACR are in Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/CameraProfiles

When a ~ tilde symbol is in front of a Macintosh Pathname that signifies the location is in your User Library.

So if you click on your desktop, click Go>Go To Folder and paste ~/library/application support/adobe/CameraRaw/CameraProfiles/ that will be in your User Library.

On the other hand if you paste in /Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/CameraProfiles that will take you to your Macs Hard Drive Library (often referred to as the top level Library) (no tilde symbol in front of the Pathname)

Hi Jeff,

Many thanks for your explanation, I always seem to get confused which library to use.
