Question

Can't close Photoshop unless I force quit

I'm using Mojave on an iMac, and have the most recent Photoshop update. For some reason when I "quit" Photoshop it won't. It hangs until I force quit the application. Anyone else have this problem? (I don't have this problem on my Macbook using the Catalina OS, but I don't want to update the OS on the iMac due to how many programs won't work with it.) Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Are you talking about Photoshop v21.0.1 on your iMAC? That version is not compatible with Mojave.

Yes, that's the version I'm using. Everything else seems to work on Photoshop 21.0.1 with Mojave. Just can't quit the program without force quitting. Seems odd that closing the program would be a compatibility problem, but of course I defer to experts. So - do you suggest upgrading my iMac to Catalina, or using a previous version of Photoshop? Thank you, Michele.

Sorry, my error - it should work with Mojave. Are there any updates to Mojave? Have you tried to restart your computer? That will often fix problems. If these don't work I suggest trying to uninstall and re-installing Photoshop.

Yes, I did a restart and it didn't make a difference. I guess I'll try re-installing PS and see what happens. I'll let you know. Thank you.
